Why Craftzar Might Be the Easiest Way to Sell Handmade Creations Online

No matter what your craft of choice is - be it woodworking, knitting, scrapbooking, glass blowing... the list goes on - you may find yourself wondering whether there is a way that you can make a bit of extra money from your creations.

You're definitely not alone in this. There is an extremely large number of individuals that sell their products online, whether they use online marketplaces or set up their own online shop. Whichever way you choose to sell products, the beauty of handcrafted creations is that they are always in demand. Your creativity, however you choose to express it, is such a valuable resource, and many individuals will love to buy your products, either for themselves or as gifts.

However, it is not always an easy process. The time you need to enjoy your crafting hobby may be compromised by the amount of time you spend online, uploading product information and monitoring engagement. You may feel that you need to spend even more time on social media, sharing your products in Facebook groups or advertising on Instagram. And, even though you put in all of the extra time and effort, you may only make a small number of sales and you will only have a bit of time left over for crafting.

There is also a chance that you may find the processes complicated and challenging, especially if you are not used to using certain websites and marketplaces. This may also make it more difficult for you to advertise online, reducing your overall sales.

This is why Craftzar could be the marketplace you're looking for!

We might just be the easiest way to sell products online. By taking away these hard parts of selling online by taking over the product upload process, management and advertising, as well as looking after your sales and organising your shipping methods, this will give you more time to focus on your craft.

We can break down the process of selling online into four simple steps:

  1. Create Your Product - Whatever you choose to make, take your time and enjoy the process of crafting, knowing that everything else will be taken care of.

  2. Take Photos of Your Creation - All you need is a bit of good lighting and a photo from each angle of your product, preferably with a plain, light background. Just think about the kind of photos you would like to see of a product you are purchasing.

  3. Fill In Our Product Upload Form - When you sign up to become a Craftzar Creator, you will receive a link to our Product Upload Form. This will take no more than 5 minutes to fill in - we just need to know the name and description of the product, the dimensions and weight of the product (for shipping) and which category you would like your product to be posted in.

  4. Package & Post Your Item - When your item sells, we will get in touch to let you know, along with a pre-paid shipping label. Simply package up your item and either print and attach the label at home or get the label printed at your local post office. (In most cases, we can even organise for your parcel to be collected from your home by your postman!)

And that's it! It really is that simple.

All we ask in return is a one-off sign up fee when you become a Craftzar Creator, and a small commission fee per item sold (which will be less than the leading crafting marketplace). These prices will be confirmed when the shop goes live.

So, while we're setting up the last few things before going live, please feel free to get in touch with us via our website with any questions you may have. And to be one of the first to know when our shop goes live, go ahead and join our mailing list.
